My name is Ken Traister, in January 2009 God sovereignly delivered me from over a quarter century of an alcohol addiction and healed me from high blood pressure. Since that time, my life has been transformed, filled with the Holy Spirit, and continually seeking a closer relationship with and a better understanding of God and His love for me. Feeling called to share the love of Jesus to the lost, hurting, depressed, and addicted that feel there is no hope I became a licensed pastor and founded Beacon of Hope, Inc.

I believe we need to take the gospel to the streets according to Jesus’ command in Mark 16:15-18.

15  And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  16  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  17  And these signs will follow those who  [d] believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  18  they [e]  will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Beacon of Hope, Inc. wants to partner with local churches to share the good news and demonstrating the power of love by praying for their salvation, deliverance, and healing in Jesus’ name. As a community of believers empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can change the world one person at a time. Matthew 22:37-40 37  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  38  This is the first and great commandment.  39  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  40  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Love one another as Christ loved us.
